About the Position

TransForce is seeking experienced CDL Class A Drivers for local delivery operations in Jessup, Maryland. This position offers $30 per hour, morning shifts, and home-daily routes supporting multiple local delivery accounts. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with weekend availability required.

Pay & Schedule

• $30.00 per hour
• Overtime after 40 hours per week
• Estimated weekly earnings: $1,200
• AM shifts available
• Full-time and part-time opportunities
  • Full-time schedule: 5 days per week (Thursday-Monday)
• Weekend availability required

Job Details

• Route type: Local deliveries
• Freight: Palletized freight
• Handling: Touch freight, including loading and unloading as required
• Accounts: Multiple local delivery operations
• Equipment: CDL Class A tractor-trailers

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL Class A tractor-trailer on assigned local delivery routes.
• Deliver palletized freight to designated customer locations.
• Load, unload, and move freight as required.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate driving logs and delivery paperwork.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers to support timely deliveries.
• Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable CDL Class A driving experience within the last 3 years
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and safety history
• Ability to safely load, unload, and handle palletized freight
• Availability to work AM shifts, including weekends
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
