Pay & Earning Potential

MAC Logistics offers a competitive compensation package that rewards safe driving, reliability, and performance.

• Starting Pay: $0.69 CPM

• Earn Up to $0.72 CPM with performance incentives

• $1,400 Weekly Pay Guarantee for the First 90 Days

• All dispatched miles paid, including loaded and empty miles

• Up to $0.03 CPM Performance Bonus, earned weekly and paid monthly

• $300 Monthly Wellness Bonus after 90 days of continuous employment

• $25 per additional stop

• $20 per hour detention pay after 2 hours

• $100 layover pay per qualifying 24-hour period

• $100 breakdown pay per qualifying 24-hour period

• $150 Clean DOT Inspection Bonus

• Weekly pay

Our performance incentive program gives drivers the opportunity to earn an additional $0.03 CPM based on three categories:

• Safety: Additional $0.01 CPM

• Attendance & Reliability: Additional $0.01 CPM

• Performance & Equipment Care: Additional $0.01 CPM

Each category is evaluated independently on a weekly basis, with earned bonuses accumulated and paid monthly.

Home Time & Routes

We understand that time at home matters. MAC Logistics offers a regional schedule designed to provide drivers with meaningful time off while maintaining consistent miles.

• Out 1–2 weeks with consecutive home time upon return

• No West Coast trips

• Regional freight with routes outside the West Coast

• Consistent freight and dependable driving opportunities

• Some overnight stays required

• Flexibility based on freight and operational needs

Paid Christmas Time Off

MAC Logistics recognizes the importance of spending the holidays with family.

Eligible drivers receive two consecutive weeks of paid time off during the company's Christmas shutdown, with compensation of:

• $1,400 per week

• $2,800 total paid Christmas shutdown compensation

• Eligibility after 90 days of continuous employment

Driver Responsibilities

As a CDL-A Regional Truck Driver with MAC Logistics, you will safely transport freight to customers while maintaining the company's standards for service, safety, and professionalism.

Responsibilities include:

• Safely operate commercial tractor-trailer equipment on assigned routes

• Pick up, transport, and deliver freight to customers

• Handle occasional backhaul assignments

• Properly secure freight before transportation

• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Complete required Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs)

• Maintain equipment in clean and safe operating condition

• Communicate with dispatch and management regarding schedules, equipment issues, and delays

• Maintain accurate driving and delivery documentation

• Follow all DOT and FMCSA safety regulations

• Report equipment defects, maintenance needs, and moving violations as required

• Maintain professional relationships with customers

• Follow company safety policies and drug and alcohol testing requirements

Driver Qualifications

Qualified applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

• Current DOT medical certificate

• Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations

• Ability to safely operate tractor-trailer equipment

• Ability to perform required vehicle inspections

• Ability to properly secure freight

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and follow dispatch instructions

• Willingness to comply with company safety and drug and alcohol policies

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds regularly

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Flexibility for extended driving shifts, occasional nighttime work, and overnight stays

Forklift certification may be required for certain assignments, with recertification every three years where applicable.

Additional Compensation & Benefits

MAC Logistics offers additional compensation designed to recognize driver performance and support overall well-being.

Monthly Wellness Bonus: Eligible drivers receive $300 per month after 90 days of continuous employment. This is additional taxable compensation and is not tied to the purchase of health insurance.

Layover & Breakdown Pay: Eligible drivers receive $100 per qualifying 24-hour period, subject to company requirements and applicable exclusions.

Paid Holiday Shutdown: Eligible drivers receive two paid weeks during the Christmas shutdown.
