TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Gastonia, NC. 

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Details 

• Schedule: Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 11am Start time, 8 hours per day

• Pay:  $26.77 Per Hour + $5.36 Health & Wellness

• Route Type: Local home daily routes to NC/SC, weekend routes may need to unload mail carts

• Freight / Load Type: Mail

• Handling: Drop & Hook, Driver may need to roll of the mail carts/cages

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A 

• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Endorsements: None

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes 

• Transport mail in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
