We are looking for a Part- Time Shuttle Driver to join our team.
Applicant will be responsible for relocating loaded / empty trailers from the customers drop lots to their docks & back to the drop lots as directed by the customer.
If you have a valid commercial class A driver's license & want home time every day, we want to hear from you.
Duties

• Move trailers and other equipment around the yard using a yard tractor safely.
• Couple & uncouple to trailers following proper safety procedures.
• Ensure trailers are properly positioned for loading and unloading.
• Perform safety checks on equipment before and after use.
• Communicate with other dock & yard personnel to coordinate movements
• Maintain a clean and organized yard
• Assist with other duties as assigned

Working Conditions: The Yard Hostler will primarily work outdoors in all weather conditions. The position will require working weekends and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements: The Yard Hostler must be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate equipment for extended periods of time.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
Shifts are:

• Saturday 3 PM to 12 AM
• Sunday 10 PM to 6 AM.
• There will be times that additional coverage may be needed such as  ( driver call off , vacation )

Trucking Route:

• Local - Onsite

Experience:

• Driving: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• CDL A (Required)
