Operate 26 box truck safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and the Department of Transportation Accurately and efficiently load and unload cargo, often using a manual or powered pallet jack Backs truck to customer dock. Maintains compliance with Federal and State safety regulations and safe and professional driving behavior. Communicates with customer representatives in pleasant, respectful, and efficient manner. Communicating and coordinating with dispatchers. Complies with all DOT requirements including drug and alcohol testing (subject to random and reasonable-suspicion drug and alcohol testing). Securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle. Ensure that any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving. Performs other duties as required.
